Biography

İpek is an enthusiastic and passionate teacher who brings joy and curiosity into the classroom. She is a graduate from Middle East Technical University, Ankara, Turkey with a BSc degree in Biology Program.She has been teaching Biology and Environmental Science since 2017.

The educational philosophy of her is to raise students who think critically, have academic excellence and leadership skills and are open to new ideas, and interested to maintain a sustainable world for generations to come.

She seeks to ensure her students consider the costs and the benefits of human activities, both to the environment and to societies, over the short and long term with the possible implications for sustainability. She has caring students in ESS class who are encouraged to create innovative solutions to environmental issues by engaging actively in local and global contexts as being responsible young adults who will be looked upon to tackle and successfully solve problems in recent future.
